There's really a lot of poker rooms around and I do admit I'm also affiliated with many of them. However, one of them seems to stand out from others, mainly because of a few neat features. But before getting to that, all I can say is that there's not too many players around, but enough; the software is good; depositing is easy as with all other poker rooms; and withdrawal times are okay, even though instead of promised 48 hours it once took 60 hours for Skrill (moneybookers) withdrawal; they have nice first deposit bonuses (welcome bonus of 200% on your first deposit up to $4,000 withe code THEFUTURE, paid out in increments of $5, for each 84 VIP points earned); live support is not available 24/7 as promised, but they are live enough.
So basically, the things I mentioned, are very similar in case of pretty much all of the better poker rooms. But, what makes this poker room kind of special to me? There are two things, one is ongoing and the other is for the JULY ONLY
(2012). Both of these promos assume that you're somewhat okay player. Meaning that once you make a deposit, you won't lose it all after a few hands or few hours. If don't do that, and are able to play 4 tables at a time, they can offer you some very appreciated additional cash, in more than good amounts.
Okay, what am I talking about, what are the the neat features/bonuses of playing in this poker room and what room is it anyhow? Glad you asked. First of all, I'm talking about LockPoker
- Firstly, they have a feature called VAULT. Every time you play, you collect points, and you pay rake, like in every other poker room. But these guys are paying you 36% of the rake back into your VAULT, in case of high volume players up to 55%. And you don't need to do anything for it to happen. It happens automagically. When I first discovered it (yes, info about it doesn't seem to be too visible on their website), I discovered nearly $500 in my poker vault. And it's real money. The difference being that the daily rakeback doesn't go directly into your account (so you can't lose it my *mistake*), but you can access it by using the code and a password you set the first time you enter it. And then you can transfer the money to your poker account. Do you know any other poker room that does that? If you do, please let me know, would be happy to check it out. If you don't, head over to lock poker and see how you like it.
- Secondly, until the end of JULY 2012 they are running rake race called Battle of the Ronin, where you can earn even more in addition to your usual rakeback. For more information about that, click here, once on the site, click on the Promos link and then Battle of the Ronin image in the right column. They are giving away the total of $1 million in rake.
- It's not really a third thing, but if you do register there, don't forget to use the code THEFUTURE before making your first deposit in order to be eligible for the nice deposit bonus I mentioned in the beginning of this article.
- And just one more thing, every Saturday they have a freeroll called 100 seats to the $100K. You simply need to have earned 250 VIP points the previous week to get the chance to participate in this freeroll and have the chance to win one of the 100 tickets (worth $109 or something).
While this article might sounds like an ad, it kind of is, my affiliate links are inside it and I am promoting Lock Poker
. However, in this case I do it because that's one poker room I can really recommend to anyone, mainly because of the neat rakeback vault option. Where else can you find new money in the morning after playing couple of hours the last night, kind of just by accident?
And of course, should you have any questions about it, feel free to ask, I'll do my best to answer as promptly as possible.
